The Jen Di Reeno Foundation, Inc. was founded to honor the life and spirit of Jennifer Di Reeno, a young woman from Reading, MA who demonstrated great courage and exuded a positive attitude throughout her life, even during her battle with cancer.

A role model for those around her, Jen faced each day with a smile. She spread love and genuine happiness to strangers, acquaintances, and friends and family alike. Diagnosed with melanoma in 1998, Jen continued to greet each day with an abundance of positive energy. Despite her illness, Jen refused to allow worry or depression to burden her friends and family.

Jen’s spirit, smile and infectious laughter uplifted those around her and helped support her grieving family and friends. Although Jen succumbed to her cancer in June of 1999, she remains a very important part of all of the lives she touched in her 21 years. Jen taught many people that each day should be lived to its fullest. Her jovial spirit of love continues to affect all those she knew and all those touched by The Jen Di Reeno Foundation.
